Glenda Kaye Johnson

Glenda Kaye Johnson, 75, Hawkins County, TN, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, at Church Hill Health and Rehab.

Glenda was born in Gate City, VA, on August 24, 1949, to the late Garson Flanary and Vonnie (Falin) Flanary.

In addition to her parents, her son, William Bruce Hart, Jr.; sisters, Cora Ethel, Effie Mae, Maude Elvie, Ranzy, Betty Jo, and Wanda Sue; and brothers, Roy Elmer, Garson (Junior), and Ray preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory is her angel baby granddaughter, Rebecca “Becca” Williams (Zack); great grandchildren, Kaydence Williams and Colt Williams; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Hensley Cemetery, Gate City, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45a.m., for the graveside service.

The family would like to give a special thank you to James and Reba Kindle for their love and care for Nana.
