Darrell Lee Gilliam, 83, Gray, TN passed away, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Darrell was born in War, West Virginia on March 12, 1939, and was the son of the late Fred and Lockie Smith (Stallard) Gilliam.
He was a carpenter by trade.
In addition to his parents, his son, Darrell Wayne Gilliam, first wife and mother of his children, Francis Ann (Beverly) Gilliam, sister, Patricia “Pat” Osborne preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife, Myrtle (Davis) Gilliam, sons, Jarius “Jerry” Gilliam, and James Gilliam and wife, Dana, grandchildren, Darrell, Jr., John, Jessica, Drew, Josh, and Lucas, great grandchildren, Logan, Elizabeth, Makayla, Abby, Colin, J.P, John, Mark, Reece, and Peyton, great-great grandson, Grayson, brother, Phillip “Phil” Gilliam and wife, Norma, four step children, along with several nieces and nephews.
It was the wish of Darrell to be cremated and a private memorial graveside service to be held at a later date.
