Geraldine Faye Taylor, 87, Duffield VA, passed away November 3, 2026, at her residence.

She was born in Nickelsville, VA, on September 5, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Curtis Easterling and Mary Belle Easterling.

Geraldine was a devoted Christian, and pastor’s wife for many years while raising her children, grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Rev. Charles Taylor; brothers, Carl Easterling, Jimmy Kilgore, and Roger Easterling; sister, Carol Taylor; granddaughter, Amanda Cochran; great-great granddaughter, Zariah Grace; sister-in-law, Joan Easterling; brothers-in-law, Herman Dotson and Ed (Saucer) Taylor; father and mother-in-law, Paris and Bess Taylor preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Taylor (Angie) and Ricky Taylor (December); daughters, Elizabeth Page (Harold) and Patricia Taylor (Bo); grandchildren, Travis Page (Kellie), Marlena Darnell (Brandon), Ashley Davidson, Cindy Stallard, Sarah Suthers (Byron), Jacqueline Montemarano, Jeremy Cochran (Sadie), Stephanie Newton (Zeke); brother, David Easterling (Deb); sister, Syble Dotson; sisters-in-law, Pauline Gates (Bob), Mary Sims, and Judy Taylor; brother-in-law, Gary Taylor; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m., Thursday, November 5, 2026, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 7:00p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Hensley and Rev. Jimmy Darnell officiating. Lisa McCracken will provide the music.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00a.m., Friday, November 6, 2026, at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15a.m., to go in procession to the graveside service.

Isaiah Davidson, Travis Page, Justin Sexton, Gabe Taylor, Noah Taylor, and Jeremy Cochran will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Todd Cassell for his dedication and care for our mom.
