Bobby Wayne France, Sr. ? Kingsport, TN Mr. Bobby Wayne France, Sr., 59, Kingsport, TN passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Mr. France was born in Sullivan County, TN on August 12, 1948, a son of the late Rev. Carl Raymond and Thelma Akers France. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from the Bindery Division of the Kingsport Press. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Raymond France. Surviving is his son, Bobby France, Jr., and wife, Kim, Kingsport, TN, grandchildren, Cyrus France, Kingsport, TN, Dewayne Lane, Kingsport, TN, Shannon Lane, Kingsport, TN, and Kandi Mabb and husband, Dennis, Kingsport, TN, great grandson, Kaleb Mabb, sisters, Barbara Lane and husband, Bill, Church Hill, TN and Rita Spivey, Gate City, VA, brother, Freddie France and wife, Brenda, Kingsport, TN, nieces, April Williams and husband, Chris and Nicole Spivey and great nieces, Kindall and Katie Williams. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Glenn Hicks and Elder Jimmy Combs officiating. Donna Hicks will provide the music. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Shannon Lane, Dewayne Lane, Dennis Mabb, Darrell Tipton, Tony France and Chris Williams will serve as pallbearers. Wayne Templeton, Larry Rogers, Lennis France and Bill Lane will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will be meeting at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m., Tuesday, to go in procession to the graveside service.
