Regina Elliott, 62, entered into rest Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born in Dungannon, VA May 12, 1946.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Elliott and one brother, C.L. Finch
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Scotty Elliott, Gate City, VA, Phillip Elliott and wife, Karen, Ft. Blackmore, VA; parents, Cecil and Irene Finch; sisters, Susanne Flanary, Gerlene Owens, Sharon Babb, Mary Boggs, Rita Combo and Sally Cleek; brothers, Ricky, James and Wayne Finch; four grandchildren and two step grandchildren; very special friends, Judy Lane, Peggy Edens and Becky Lawson; several nieces and nephews. Regina was also mamaw Neenie to two special girls, Candice and Lauren Summey.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at her residence and the residence of her son, Phillip Elliott. Services will be at 8 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Phillip Elliott and Gary Elliott officiating. Music will be provided by Phillip Elliott.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008 at Lawson Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore Community. The family will meet at 10 a.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Barnett, Robbie Hammonds, Chuck Henry, Bill Pat Tipton, Rodney Lane and Howard Tipton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Taila Elliott, Shadie Elliott, Dylan Elliott, Dawson Elliott, Cody Hensley and Jeromia Hensley.
