Leoria (Gibson) Elliott, 91, Gate City, VA passed away, Sunday, March 31, 2019 in Parma, Ohio.
Born in Scott County, VA, she was the daughter of the late L.C. and Mary Gibson.
In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Fred E. Elliott; son, Wendell Elliott; grandchildren, Maranda and Mark; and 8 of her siblings preceded her in death.
Surviving are her loving children, Connie E. Elliott and wife, Monica, Charles Michael Elliott and Beverly; and daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Elliott; grandchildren, James, Roy, Thomas, Mary Ellen, April, Erin, Michael, and Michael; 13 great grandchildren and one on the way; 2 great great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:30p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Hensley officiating. Toke Hensley and the Boys will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Wilson Elliott Family Cemetery in the Midway community of Scott County, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday to go in procession to the graveside service.
