Patricia Yvonne Elam, 60, Nickelsville, VA passed away, Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at her residence.
Patricia was born in Sullivan County, TN on September 24, 1958 to JoAnn Lee (Dean) Cassell and the late Bobbie Jackson Cassell.
Surviving are her husband, Guy Elam; children, Joey and Tabitha Castle, Robert and Jennifer Elam, Julie and Trey Meade; grandchildren, Levi Castle, Brady Castle, Easton Elam, Rilynn Elam, Jackson Meade, William Meade; mother, JoAnn Cassell; sister, Debbie Osborne; brothers, Cotton and Pam Castle, Dickie and Zona Cassell, Bobby Wayne and Debbie Cassell; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday July 19, 2019 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Travis Stapleton and Brother Bill Buchanan officiating. Mike and Dottie Lane, and David and Debbie Easterling will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, VA. Family and friends will be meeting at the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. to go into procession to the graveside service. Levi Castle, Brady Castle, Trey Meade, Travis Osborne, Cotton Castle, and Dickie Cassell will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Easton Elam, Jackson Meade, and William Meade.
