Edgar Allen Horne, 84, Kingsport, TN, passed away, Monday, September 22, 2025, peacefully at home.

Edgar was born on August 12, 1941, in Scott County, VA and was the son of the late Samuel Horne and Ethel Mae (Easterling) Horne.

In addition to his parents, his five brothers preceded him in death.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jeraline (Hartsock) Horne; son, Michael Horne; grandchildren, John Wesley (Brittnie), Nikki, and Brooke (Greg); great-grandchildren, Tyran, Kaden, Brayden, Leah, Grayson, Jace, and Jaxon; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00p.m., Monday, September 29, 2025, at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45p.m., for the graveside service.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to aid in funeral expenses.
