Doris Ann (Corder) Redden- Church Hill, TN

Doris Ann (Corder) Redden, 80, Church Hill, TN, passed away, Friday, May 15, 2026, at her residence with her family by her side.

Doris was born in Scott County, VA, on November 2, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Howard Corder and Martha (Butler) Corder.

In addition to her parents, her husband Bill Redden; brother, Charles “Buck” Corder and one infant brother; and four infant sisters preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Edna Bailey, Church Hill, TN and Fran Pair, Johnson City, TN; nieces and nephews, Pamela Pair, Melissa Bailey, Tony Corder, and Michael Corder; great nieces and nephews, Anna, Jacob, and Clay Corder, Noella Bailey, and Cassidy Bledsoe; and several other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11-1p.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 1:00p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home with Joe Hill and Mike Ervin officiating. Debbie Bailey Ray, Tony Corder and Ron Hill will provide the music.

Graveside services will follow at the Corder Cemetery, Scott County, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Suncrest Home Health/ Beacon Hospice Team and Tony and Tracy Corder, Pamela Pair, and caregiver Michelle Hall for their love and care for Doris.
