Phillip Dishner, 41, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at his residence.
He was born January 19, 1966 in Sullivan County, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Dishner and his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
He was survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Chasity Dishner, Church Hill, TN, Amber and Caleb Quillen, Fall Branch, TN; step daughter, Muffi Richardson, Church Hill, TN; parents, Charles Lee Dishner, Sr. and Agnes Skeens Dishner; step grandchildren, Phillip and Ashley Richardson, and Dusty Dishner; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Paul Maness, Kingsport, TN, Shirley Dishner, Kingsport, TN, Ann and Charles Osborne, Chuckey, TN, Amy Dishner, Mt. Carmel, TN and Sally and Marty Frost, Church Hill, TN; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles and Shelia Dishner, Jr,, Church Hill, TN, Johnny Dishner, Kingsport, TN, Danny Dishner, Church Hill, TN, Jeffery Dishner, Church Hill, TN; favorite companion, Rosie; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at residence of his parents. Services will be at 7 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Andy Sensabaugh officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2007 at Bellamy Cemetery, Stanley Valley Community. The family will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Gate City Funeral Home is serving the Dishner family.
