James A. Davis, 69, Nickelsville, VA passed away, Sunday, January 26, 2020 at his residence.
James was born in Scott County, VA on September 30, 1950 and was the son of the late Carrie (Ball) Davis and Roy Fred Davis, Sr.
In addition to his parents his brother, Vance Davis preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife, Judy Davis, Nickelsville, VA; daughter, Amy Davis and Dwayne Wood, Nickelsville, VA; son, Scott Davis, Nickelsville, VA; sisters, Pearl Salyers and husband Vance, Kingsport, TN, Edith Salyers, St. Paul, VA; brothers, David Davis and wife Mary, Castlewood, VA, Roy Fred Davis, Jr. and wife Patricia, Castlewood, VA; grandson, William Burke and an expected grandchild; along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside committal services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Gate City Funeral Home with Pastor Eugene Sexton officiating.
