Faye Susie Darnell 74 , Ft. Blackmore, VA passed away, Thursday, November 17,2022 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Faye was born in Scott County, VA on November 15, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Sarah Baldwin and Johnny Lane.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward “Buck” Darnell; son , Randall Darnell.
She was of the Jehovah Witness faith, and attended Kingdom Hall of Gate City, VA.
Surviving is her children, Peggy Darnell, Regina Estepp and husband, William, Sandra Edwards and husband, Gabriel, and Rose Darnell; grandchildren, Steve, Brittany, William, Jasmaine, Toby, Hailey, and Tyler, and an unborn child; great grandchildren; Layne and Callie, Randall “RJ” Darnell , Emmett; special family members, Danny Darnell, and Cody Wells; along with a special caregiver, Rita Woods, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his daughter, Sandy Edwards.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the Hill Station Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, VA with Brother Jake Pyle officiating.
Danny Darnell, Cody Wells, Jake Freeman, Gabriel Edwards, and William Estepp will serve as pallbearers. Willliam Estepp, Jr. “Bud”, Toby Estepp “Darty”, Jasmaine Darnell “Pooch, Brittany Salling “Nitnu”, and Steve Darnell “Sonny Boy” will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. for the Graveside Service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Gate City Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
