Daniel (Dougar) Hensley – Gate City, VA
Daniel (Dougar) Hensley, 68, Gate City, VA passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center surrounded by his loving family members.
Daniel was born in Scott County, VA on April 23, 1956, and was the son of the late Oscar and Ellen (Winstead) Hensley.
Surviving is his daughter, Sheena Hensley Flanary and husband, Josh, Dryden, VA, grandsons, Austin Hunley and Braden Hensley, brothers, Charles Hensley and Joseph (Doc) Hensley and wife, Brenda, along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Gate City Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date by his family.
