Daniel Roger Cabrera, 40, Weber City, VA passed away, Saturday, April 4, 2026, at his residence.

Daniel was born in Miami Beach, Florida on October 22, 1985, and was the son of Francisco Eduardo Cabrera and Margarita Pedroso.

His stepdad, Yojan Puente, and grandfather, Roger Rivero preceded him in death.

Daniel Cabrera will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A man whose presence could light up any room. Daniel carried a warmth and kindness that made people feel seen, valued, and welcome whether they were lifelong friends or complete strangers.

He had a heart that never hesitated to help. If someone was in need, Daniel was already there, offering a hand, a word of encouragement, or simply his time. His generosity wasn’t occasional; it was who he was.

Daniel’s laughter was unforgettable. It was the kind that filled the room, lifted spirits, and brought people together. In moments of joy or difficulty, that laughter had a way of reminding everyone that things would be okay.

Loved by many and admired by all who crossed his path, Daniel leaves behind a legacy of compassion, connection, and genuine humanity. Though he is no longer with us, the impact he made and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Surviving is his mother, Margarita Pedroso, father, Francisco Cabrera, grandmother, Joyce Ann Rivero, brothers, Francisco Eduardo Cabrera, Jr. and wife, Amber Lynn, and Eduardo Cabrera Diaz and wife, fiancé, JayDee Hawn, aunt, Laurie Collis, and husband, J.J., uncle, Alexander Aaron Rivero and wife, Selina, nieces and nephews, Heather Marie Collis, Gabriel Matthew Suarez, Michael Antonio Suarez, Aiyana Avery Collis, Francisco Eduardo “Tripp” Cabrera, III, Elias Wayne Cabrera, Cade Ramon Cabrera, Josiah Hunter Cabrera, Rosalie Lynne Cabrera, Sally Roberts, Savannah Jessee, Sierra Gentry, and Race Jessee, along with many friends and his fur baby, Awnyx.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Gate City Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at the Green Cemetery, Coeburn, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
