Born April 12, 1944 in Scott County, VA to the late Edmon Clark and Mattie Leonia Clark Maggard.

In addition to his parents his wife, Peggy Meade Clark; a daughter, Angie Campbell; sister, Carol Gray; two brothers, Robert and Clint Clark precede Mr. Clark in death. And one sister?in-law, Janice Clark.

Surviving are his sisters and brothers-in?law, Kathleen Lane Russell, Yuma, VA, Hazel Gray and husband, Cleve, Yuma, VA, Vernice Cummingham, Shreveport, LA and Joan Watson and husband, Phil, Damascus, VA; Brother and sister?in?law; Loyd "Dick" Clark and wife, Charlene, Mendota, VA; Brother?in?law, Roger Gray, Castlewood, VA; Grandchildren, Lindsey, Lebanon, VA; step daughter, Connie Stinson and husband, Manley, Lebanon, VA; Along with several nieces and nephews; Special friends, Richard and Donna Dakin, Mendota, VA.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Gate City Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Raymond Hammonds and Rev. G. W. White officiating. Music will be provided by Patty Odum and Kenneth Davis.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. in Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be meeting at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
