Roger Dale Brooks, 75, Gate City, VA passed away, Monday, February 25, 2019 at the U.T. Medical Center, Knoxville, TN.
Roger was born in Dickenson, VA on March 13, 1943. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He retired from the Eastman after 25 years of service. Roger was always ready and willing to help people in any way he could, he will be sorely missed.
His son, Brian Dale Brooks preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife, Loraine Brooks, Gate City, VA; daughter, Angie Brooks-Harris and son-in-law, Kent Harris, Kingsport, TN.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. with the Rev. Ray Bledsoe and Rev. Vanus Scalf officiating.
Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:45 a.m. at the cemetery for the graveside service.
