Brian James Dockery – Kingsport, TN
Brian James Dockery, 47, Kingsport, TN, passed away, Monday, December 11, 2023, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Brian was born in Cleveland , OH on November 12, 1976, and was the son of Anna R. (Snavely) Haskins and the late Conley Emmitt Dockery.
He graduated from Willoughby South High School in Willoughby, OH in 1995. He received an Associates of Fine Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati.
Brian was employed as a front store clerk with Kroger in Kingsport, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father, Conley Emmitt Dockery.
Left to cherish Brian’s memory is his mother and stepfather, Anna R. and Donald Haskins, Weber City, VA, brother, Sean Dockery, Sr., and wife, Jeannie, Ravenna, OH, sister, Kelly Haskins, Phoenix, AZ, nephews, Sean Dockery, Jr., and wife, Krista, Ravenna, OH, and Paul Ethan Haskins, Green Valley, AZ, niece, Emma Dockery, Struthers, OH, and great niece, Brooklyn Marie Dockery, Ravenna, OH, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2023, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Brother Robbie Dockery and Brother Garnie Snavely officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Cowden Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, VA.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at 9:15 a.m., on Saturday to go in procession to the graveside service.
