Brenda Sue Price, 78, Gate City, VA, passed away, Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Bristol Hospice.

Brenda was born in Richmond, IN, on September 23, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Chester Bright and Ruby Franklin (Reynolds) Bright.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 49 years, Lanny Price; children, Matthew “Matt” Price (Amanda), Brad Bright (Ashley) and Dawn Rachelle Wright; grandchildren, Abigail, Isabelle, Megan, Scout, Brady, Kaden, Kingston, Konan; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Jennings Gilliam (Fred); special friend, Karen Hahn; fur baby, Tori; and many friends.

Brenda’s wishes were to be cremated; no formal services will be conducted at this time.
