Zella Blair ? Gate City, VA Mazella Gertrude Blair, 89, Gate City, VA passed away, Monday, August 13, 2007 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Ms. Blair was born in Scott County, VA on April 30, 1918, the daughter of the late Joseph Samuel and Mary Ruth Strong Blair. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Clint, Lee, Roy, Gene and Joe Howard Blair, Hettie Blair, Ethel Roberts, Elsie Mae McClellan, Bessie Joyce and Stella Blair making her the last of eleven children. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA conducted by Rev. G.W. White. The Lee Smith Singers will provide music. Family and friends will be meeting at the cemetery for the graveside service. Gate City Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Blair family
