Gary Eugene Berry, 49 of Duffield, VA passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Joe Berry; grandparents, Floyd and Martha Berry and Will and Grace Berry along with several aunts.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Bessie Pauline Berry of the home; children, Elizabeth and Brandon Berry; one special daughter, Marilynn Benezette, Duffield, VA; mother and stepfather, Rev. James and Ethel Berry Harris, Blackwater, VA; brother Rev. Lonnie and Susie Berry, Jonesville, VA; several stepbrothers and sisters; uncles, Ed and Detta Sue Berry, Rev. William Berry; several nieces, nephews and cousins
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at Gate City Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. William Berry and Evangelist Jimmy Darnell officiating. Music will be provided by the Berry Family.
Burial will follow the service on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Brandon Berry, Johnny Berry, Johnathan Berry, Tommy Berry, Brian Berry, and Jason Berry.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Gate City Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
