Jimmie Begley, 76, Dallas, NC passed away, Thursday, July 21, 2016.
Mr. Begley was born in Fort Blackmore, VA on March 29, 1940.
His wife, Phyllis Begley and loving parents, preceded him in death.
He is survived by daughters, Tammy Kirksey, Bellmont, NC and Dawn Hoffman and husband, David, Gastonia, NC; sons, Terry Begley, Loudon, TN, Tony Begley and wife, Jo, Bessmer City, NC, and Teddy Begley, Dallas,NC; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Walker Darnell and Rev. James Mann officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Carter Cemetery in the Stoney Creek community of Scott County, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
