Allen Payne Hillman, 86, Kingsport, TN, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026, at The Waters of Bristol, Blountville, TN.

Allen was born on May 17, 1940, in Scott County, VA, and was the son of the late William J. Hillman and Katherine Theodosia Hillman.

In addition to his parents, his son Wes Hillman; and several brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Hillman; daughters, Pam Salyer and Paula Estep (Ronald); son, Brad Hillman (Teresa); grandchildren, Ethan Salyer (Chasity), Colton Salyer (Ashton), Heather Hillman, and Jonathan Hillman; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10-11:30a.m., Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 11:30a.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Buford Quillin will provide the music.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00p.m., at the Mountain Home National Cemetery, Johnson City, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
