Megan was born in Sullivan County, TN on May 7, 1989 to Gary Wayne Addington and Susan Leigh (Gray) Williams.
Her step-grandfather, Glen Beard; and maternal great grandmother, Clarene Addington preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Skyler Leigh Addington, Ft Blackmore, VA; husband, Shaun Stapleton, Nickelsville, VA; mother, Susan “Tootie” Williams and husband, Blue, Ft Blackmore, VA; father, Gary Wayne Addington, Nickelsville, VA; brother, Andrew “Drew” Addington, Nickelsville, VA; maternal grandparents, Sonny and Mary Gray, Gate City, VA; paternal grandmother, Ila Beard, Nickelsville, VA; mother-in-law, Connie Shoemaker, Nickelsville, VA; along with several aunts, uncle, cousins, and many friends.
A private memorial service will be conducted by her family at a later date.
