Aaron Michael Welch

Aaron Michael Welch, 31, of Nickelsville, VA gained his wings on September 25, 2026, at Johnson City Medical Center with his loving girlfriend, Carissa, by his side.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters Kinzlee and Ella Welch, Castlewood, VA; his mother, Tammy Bishop, Indiana; father, Gary Welch; grandmothers, Robin Brashear, Indiana, and Rebecca Delp, Dungannon, VA; bonus mom, Heather Peak; brothers, Nick and Nate Hardin; special friend, Autumn Delp; and girlfriend, Carissa Walls. Aaron is survived by far too many close friends and family to list.

Aaron had the biggest personality. He could light up any room he walked into. He would be the first one there to help anyone who called for his help. His babies were the highlight of his life.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Thursday, October 1 at Hanging Rock Park at 5:30 pm. Aaron was too full of life for a sad occasion. Please bring laughs, memories, crazy stories, anything he would have loved.

Until we meet again, my friend, give heaven some hell.
