Condolences

Our sincere condolences to Ed's family. We grew up in Daniel Boone with Ed. Tom & Ed were friends growing up and they graduated at Shoemaker together. So sorry we haven't been able to visit with him in many years since we live in Georgia. We have many memories of the days we spent with Ed when we were young.

Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Lane family on Ed's passing. As double-first cousins my brothers (Benton and Lewis) and I spent many wonderful times with the Ed, Bennie and Charles in our early childhoods and those years are still remembered and cherished today. Ed and I were the youngest of the group. We were all 'one' family.

While we lost contact in our later lives, the thoughts and memories lingered and will never be forgotten.

God Bless Ed's family and relatives.

Reva,

We are so sorry to hear of your husband's
"crossing over to the next life" at this time. We are confident that you realize he has been healed and would want you to see him "as I am now."

The family and you are very much in our prayers for the comforting and strengthening touch of the Master's hand.

Love,
Sara Jo and John Bardsley

My thoughts and prayers to the family of Ed Lane. Cherish the memories you have, Karrie. For many years, he was father and mother to you. Although I never met Reva, I send my sympathy because I have been there, too. May God grant all of you strength to endure these sad days.

Love Ya!

So sorry to hear about Ed. My sympathies to the family. Ed and I grew up together in Daniel Boone. He lived on the hill above Dad. He was at our house just about every day when we were young. I remember when he would be going home he would stop at our house and just walk through the front door, say hi, and out the back and on up the hill. He did that many times and we would just say hi back. Those moments will be missed forever.

After we grew up I never saw Ed again. What with military service and later coming to Michigan in search of employment, I never had the occasion to meet him again, even when we went back to visit.

But the memory will always linger in my mind. Ed was one of a kind — good friend and neighbor. I know he will be missed by many.

Ed u will truely be missed. I'm truely blessed with the memories I have of you. You was a very caring man I can remember when I'd meet Karrie @ home and we would be getting ready to head out to go to Gate City to cruise & u would always set us down & tell use what not to do (even if we didn't listen all that & when we didn't we all got in trouble & you'd always say I only fuss because I care) but every time we got ready to leave u would hug Karrie tell her u love her & look at use & say girls have fun but be careful. My last memory of u was heart breaking cause you couldn't remember me & was very sick u wanted out of the ER & I told u I'd try my best to help & u was so happy with me. There so many memories **praying for my friend Karrie & her family your their guardian angel now**
