David Wayne Anderson – Ft. Blackmore, VA

Mr. David Wayne "Buzz" Anderson, 57, Ft. Blackmore, VA went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, December 26, 2011 at Heritage Hall, Big Stone Gap, VA.

Mr. Anderson was born in Sullivan County, TN on December 13, 1954 to Marie Begley Anderson and the late J. D. Anderson (1991); grandparents, Howard and Vernie Pierson Anderson and Emory and Nannie Frazier Begley.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Marie B. Anderson, formerly of Ft. Blackmore, VA, are his brothers, Danny Anderson, Ft. Blackmore, VA and Jackie Anderson, and wife, Betty, Steens, MS; sisters, Janice Ball and husband, Rick, Kingsport, TN, Wilma Bush and husband, Tommy, Duffield, VA, Teresa Dorton, and husband, Carl, Yuma, VA, Lynn Kilgore and husband, Jimmy, Kingsport, TN, and Dorinda Sproles and husband, Jim, Mendota, VA; and along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Wrightly Salling officiating. A eulogy will be given by the Rev. Jim Sproles.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the Pierson Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, VA. Brothers-In-Law and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Heritage Hall Nursing Home, and to Dr. Lawrence Fleenor, Jr., and Jane Gilliam, RN.

All The Anderson Family
I am sorry in hearing of Dave's passing.He now has no more aches nor pains and is in Heaven in the arms of our sweet Jesus with ones that have gone on before him . He has his new glorified with no blemishes . I will pray that the Lord give each of you comfort and peace and strengh to endure all the saddness that goes with the sorrow . May God wrap you in the comfort today and for the rest of you live. My love , thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

Tommy& the whole family,I am so sorry to hear of David's passing.Take comfort in knowing he is in no more pain.He is with our heavenly father,the LORD JESUS CHRIST in HEAVEN tonight.He is with all those who have gone on before him.Shed no tears for he is in a far better place than we can imagine.(SP?)Take comfort in knowing I wil be praying for you and the whole family.I pray the LORD gives you all the comfort and peace and strenght to endure all of the saddness that goes with these situation's.GOD bless each member of your family today and each day for the rest of your lives.if there is anything I can do.Call me 423-398-5115, LOVE YOU GUY'S

My thoughts and prayers go to all of the Anderson family especially my grandmother, Marie. I have many fond memories of Uncle Dave as I grew up. I am sad that he is now gone but I know that he is not in any pain and shall suffer no more. I know that he is now in heaven with a new body without blemish.
