Condolences
Joyce & Jerry,I am so sorry for your loss, words cannot express my thoughts. Shannon was a wonderful person and I will never forget all the summers we all spent in Pigeon Forge growing up together just one week out of the year at Oakmont. I have so many wonderful memories. I just heard about Shannon this evening as mom and dad arrived in Pigeon Forge. Please know that you all have been in my thoughts so many times over the years and will continue as I know how trying these times can be. I will keep you all and Madison in my prayers!!!!
All my love,
Cassie Swindall Hall

Joyce and Jerry — No words will ever help heal the pain and sorrow of losing your son — we could not even imagine what it is like — even though we didn't see you during this time, we have talked about Shannon a lot. Darrell has told me things about him and what a wonderful person he was. You all were truly blessed, as he, to have had each other. Just look up and smile and know that he is smiling back at you — he is the sun in your face, the wind that blows, and one of the beautiful stars in GOD'S sky. Most of all he is in your hearts and making you both stronger for each other — -our love and our prayers

My heartfelt condolence goes out to the family at this time of need. Shannon was one of my dear friends in high school. We had several classes together. No matter what was going on in my day, he always did something to brighten up the hallways and make me laugh. He will be truly missed. May God be with you at this time of need.

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not get to know Shannon, but always enjoyed being with you all and Madison at the Eastman campgrounds.
I came to the hospital Wednesday night after Patsy called me. I told her to tell you that I loved you. I got to see a lot of your family that I had not seen in years. I cannot remember a time that I did not know all of you and feel close to you and your sisters.
Mom has been thinking of you all.
May you find comfort during the days to come.
Love you
Peggy

Joyce, Jerry and Madison,
Words can not tell you how heartbroken I am over the loss of Shannon. He was not only a life-long friend, but he felt like a brother to me as well. He was the sweetest, most kind-hearted person I have ever known & I will always 'treasure' all the memories that we share. Please know that you all are in my prayers daily because I know that God is the only one who can comfort. I love all three of you dearly and can't even begin to explain how very sorry I am for your loss.
Much love and prayers!
