Orville Robinson, Jr.
Nickelsville, VA | January 18, 2010Orville William Robinson, Jr., 65, entered into rest Monday, January 18, 2010 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Born in Scott County, VA, he was preceded in death by his father, Orville William Robinson, Sr., and his wife, Janice Faye Compton Robinson.
Survivors include his daughter, Robin Mardones and husband, Tony, Nickelsville, VA; two sons, Greg Robinson and wife, Sherry, Dungannon, VA, Randy "J.J." Saul, Dungannon, VA; mother, Ima Jean Williams Robinson, Nickelsville, VA; three sisters, Fredia Stapleton, Nickelsville, VA, Catherine Lambert, Castlewood, VA, and Norma Robinson, Nickelsville, VA; two brothers, Henry Lee Robinson, Sr., and wife, Patsy and Johnny Wayne Robinson and wife, Teresa, Nickelsville, VA; grandchildren, Neil and Jennifer Robinson, Tori and Kaitlyn Mardones; several nieces and nephews.
Recently becoming a born again Christian; his grandchildren were truly the light of his life.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Gate City Funeral Home and any other times at the son or daughters residence. Services will be at 8 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Phillip Lane and Pastor Walter Taylor officiating. Music will be provided by Brittany Kiser and Ashley Lane, and Walter and Mary Taylor.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. The family will meet at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Gate City Funeral Home is serving the Robinson Family.

sorry to hear about junior we were friends when we were small i was born directly in front of where june jessee lives the house is no longer there i used to ride my wagon down to play with june god be with u all jimmy castle son of arthur an lois castle
